About Us

Steel Work Solutions Ltd. is a Malta-based company specialising in naval metalwork, certified welding and refitting. Founded in 2023 by three professionals with complementary skills in the naval, mechanical and engineering sectors, the company was created with the aim of responding to the growing demand for skilled labour and tailor-made technical solutions in the shipbuilding industry.

Thanks to our highly qualified and flexible approach, we are a reliable partner for complex and technically demanding projects.

We are currently working at the Tankoa Yachts shipyard, under the technical direction of Cosnav Srl, on the construction and maintenance of luxury yachts, a task that reflects our level of specialisation and the trust placed in us by leading companies in the nautical sector.

Founders

Federico Romanelli

Founder and CEO of Steel Work Solutions Ltd., I am a naval engineer with a strong vocation for refitting and shipbuilding. My career began at the G.M.G. shipyard, where I participated in major refitting projects, including the barge ‘Edmond’ and the ship ‘La Superba’, as assistant to the project manager. I then held the position of Head of Ship Repair Managers at

Palumbo Shipyards in Malta.

These experiences, combined with my entrepreneurial vision, led me to found Steel Work Solutions with the aim of creating a company that could guarantee professionalism, expertise and speed in metalworking and shipyard management

Francesco Depalo

With a master's degree in Naval Engineering, I embarked on a professional career focused on technical and structural design for the marine and energy sectors.
I have collaborated with internationally renowned companies such as RINA Consulting and Subsea7, contributing to the development of innovative solutions related to the design and installation of offshore structures.
At Steel Work Solutions, I am responsible for operational coordination, overseeing technical activities, liaising directly with technical representatives at construction sites and constantly monitoring the progress of projects. My role ensures that each phase is managed in accordance with agreed quality standards, timelines and technical specifications

Davide Gambino

My experience stems from a solid technical foundation, reinforced by years of working in industrial environments where organisation, quality and operational efficiency were fundamental elements.
I am responsible for resource management, activity planning and team coordination, ensuring that each project is carried out in an orderly manner, on time and with attention to detail.

I strongly believe in a structured operational approach, where every detail is taken care of to guarantee concrete, reliable results that are consistent with the needs of the construction sites we work with.

We currently collaborate with the prestigious Tankoa Yachts shipyard, contributing to the construction of high-profile yachts. This assignment highlights our ability to operate in contexts of excellence, guaranteeing specialised labour, operational efficiency and construction precision in environments characterised by extremely high quality standards.
